Default Sandwhich plate

Hey guys

Can anyone tell me will I need to put a adaptor piece on for a oil sandwhich plate on my 01 wry?
I've brought a set of gauges for my wrx and they are both oil pressure and temp
So I've just picked up a sandwhich plate for it but it didn't come with a adaptor piece for the oil filter

Will I need a adaptor piece?

Slightly off topic but IMO, get rid of the Sandwich plate. Almost every single one I've seen ends up with oil leaks. Not to mention increasing the chance for engine fire.

A good Read:

Cheers man had a good read I'm wanting to stay with the sandwhich plate.
Do you know if I need a adaptor piece for the sandwhich plate so the oil filter can screw back on?

I believe you do need the adaptor. Mine came with one. They are a bit tricky to get them leak free, but it is possible. The trick (like with the oil filter) is to not over tighten the sandwich plate.
