It's a thing relevant to an offence = there would be reasonable suspicion that it will provide evidence of an offence.

Example: dash cam mounted in a car that was clocked at excessive speed. It's reasonable to suspect it will have footage of the high speed driving.

Was the GTR that got impounded the Audio Precision GTR by any chance? I haven't seen it sitting outside their shop for quite a while now. I guess if it was they would have taken the stickers off so the business doesn't take a hit because of it.

That can be obtained after, as part of inquires, to view the footage.
But to seize the item, no.
