Due to you having to pay for Ecutek licence and then pay for the mapping.
Does that mean if I change cars I don't have to pay for a license next time?
Was Daniel tuning ur car or they r still doing etune with MRT?
Not sure. It was written on the invoice who did it though. |
Not sure on that one but if it's a different car new licence required not transferable me thinks. Main reason I went aftermarket ecu.

What sort of ecu? I had a bit of a look around at the time but really given engine is stock apart from TBE I didn't think an after market ecu would be pertinent. Not racing it :) it's just a daily drive. |

Well I went for a linkg4 ecu my bug as a fair bit of work done just needs a built motor and cams now. |

If I went the after market option, how much is a tune as opposed to an ecutek one? |
That depends on tuner for me initial tune and install of my ecu was roughly 1400 then any retune required charged at 250/h
