Hi Guys,

Looking at buying a new car have my heart set on a WRX. Was looking at a MY09 the other day that has done around 80,000k and is going for 25,999. They claim they can't negotiate on price as it is marked as run-out. It is stock and didn't seem like it had been pushed hard.

Is that about what I will pay or too high? Seen a few others cheaper but they all seem to be in worse condition or done a lot of k's.

One of the big things is the turbo that's fitted. From std if it has red front brake callipers it has a VF 52 turbo. Silver callipers it has a TD04. The VF52 is better

It comes down to want you can find for the $ you have. Any other mods done to it ?

It had red callipers, completely stock.

I sold my MY10 wrx two years ago for 28,500 @65000km. Swirl free paint, overserviced at dealer.

Thats is definitely too high imo.

I completely agree. You can pick up 2010/11's (wide body) with roughly the same kms for around that price these days.

I know the owner. Barely drove it and he looks after his shit. Drives like a grandma.

Personally I wouldn't pay that much for any '09 but if you can haggle, it's a very, very clean car.
