Hey guys i thought this was the best place to get some input. Iam from canada and we have a 15 year import rule. So the bugeye sti is just becoming importable to canada. Im currently driving a 98 sti type r turboback apexi power fc header uppipe 1 piece turbo inlet etc basic bolt ons sway bars coils. Im debating on going to a bugeye sti with the 6spd and brembos. I track my car anout once a month. On track days and autocross. Im very crossed between the two vehicles I know the engine is known to be a great ej207 paired with a great transmission and brakes in the bugeye vs the v4 sti with the ej20k 4/2 pot and dccd 4.44 final drive. Im worried i will sell my type r and be very dissapointed with the bugeye being bigger and heavier. Has anyone else done this transition. Id love to hear some input from you guys!
