Default Lowering the 06

Just wondering if anyone could help me out am thinking about lowering my rex on pedders low coils which apparently are 30 mill lower than standard . The question is would the 17 inch or my new 18 inch rims rub on the guards or should i stay with 17's . Also any pros or cons between running a pod filter or just upgrading the filter insert to a k & n one , ive heard that the under bonnet temps affect the pod filter?

go for the 18inch... the prob with these new shapes if u need a wide rim to fill the guards. they shoudlnt rub though if they do just ge guards rolled.

feral, gidday mate spoke to you at the cruise last friday night. my car is also an 06, lowered on king spring super lows with 18's. My guards are not rolled and i have no trouble with rubbing, even with 3 blokes in the back. (well normal driving any way, if i go over a big bump to fast then of course we get rubbing)

If u have any more questions send us a PM.

Kym

Dont buy pedders , or kings, etc - they are SHIT. They will sag after a while.

Spend a bit extra and get something better.

Cheap and effective - White Line flatout, putting these on my 06 soon. You can pick them up for 300 odd.

Sup Feral, from the people who i have spoken to i have deduced that once they got coilovers after lowered springs they really wished they had gone coilovers from the start, and that if youre ever gonna even come close to buying coilovers lowered springs are a complet waste of money

Having said that, not everyone has the money for coilovers as they are a tad pricey but from what i gather, very much worth it

We will be going coilovers in the next few months rather than springs and to quote nearly everyone one here "do it right the first time"

Good Luck Mate
