Looking at getting a set of Ultrex headers for my gc8 sti. I know there can be some issues with fitment due to the sumps.

Anyone had any experience with these headers on gc8s and know if there is any fitment issues.

Fitted Kinugawa/'Kando Dynamic' headers on my '99 STI motor which are surprisingly similar to the Ultrex ones and had no issues with fitment, that was using the square sump. Equal length require the triangular later model sump.

Nice headers. Same as Tomei and Invidia too by the looks.

You are right but not about invidia their headers are a different design they cost more and don't even come with a uppipe.

They also only come in equal from them.

The invidias used to come with the up-pipe. It seems that they aren't sold at as many places any more though.

I have invidia race 1.5 ELH and back when I bought these both the single scroll ELH and UEL both came with the three bolt up-pipe.

yeah checked all their catalogues and sites they only sell this one now its a shame now Equal Length Headers (WRX/STi)

1.5 scroll seems like abit of a gimmick that just adds abit more weight over a conventional ELH. Happy to be proven wrong though
