Does anyone know if they pick guard clearance during pit inspections or just ride height? Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk |
Guard clearance doesn't come into play unless you've got a heap of rubber protruding them. When I got done for being too low they said the lowest part of the car whether it be structural or not, cannot be less than 100mm or so with a full load.
Ensure the rest of the car is in check as they ended up failing me and chucking a heap of other irrelevant shit on the list to rectify. |
If you're scraping tyres on guards when they do the test drive, they're going to have something to say about it.

Test drive? Lol...who do you use?
|
Every yellow i've had removed has involved a test drive.

I've had about four IIRC, not one did. Then again, Perth's requirements/procedures may be different although I doubt it.

They questioned the clearance but still passed, no test drive thank god 👌

It's a requirement at my local Dept. of Transport approved workshop, no matter the car. I know for a fact it's not the inspectors just taking them for joyrides. |
