Default Weird Brant Problem

Morning,

I have a weird problem with my brant where if my key is in the ignition, the keypad turns off and I can just start the car.

Anyone else had this problem?

I like the keypad for a little extra security in the Ghetto

Cheers
J

valet mode josh.

if you want this feature off.. press the glowing number one button on key off.

it will then go back to normal... if you want it back.. key off and hold down number 1 and it will go back into valet mode.

while the car is in countdown mode (flashing *74) you hold down 2 for a few secs to put it back into manual mode which then you would have to enter the code to turn on and turn off the immobiliser. Or while in countdown mode you can also hold 3 for a few secs to switch it to autoguard mode which immobilises automatically after 2mins of being in countdown when you've turned the key off or idled too long. To turn off valet mode which you could start the car without ever entering a code, just hold 1 for a few secs. IF you've taken the battery out or something like that, your code might have reset so you'd have to use the master code that should have been supplied to you by the dealer you bought the car from. the code might be in your subaru folder in the glovebox.
Oh and another thing, its only works with the car off. If you've done it wrong simply turn the key to accessory or start the engine then turn it off again it try again.

hope that helped mate.

How about you shut the fuck up and stop spamming threads? Really, i'm fucking tired of coming onto this site, hitting new posts and having 50 threads pop up and all of them been bumped by you with stupid ass comments.

Back on topic...

Have u been driving around with ur seat belt off? I've had a few occasions of that which caused the keypad to be inactive on the next start.
