Default Argh yellow...

Well on sunday deicided to go down the coast for a look, was nice and sunny and warm. Just after cott there was a booze bus setup...Thought nothing of it aproached it and was pulled aside and asked to put all my windows up. She searched around for a few minutes and asked me if the car was mine when i replied yes she asked another cop for a "Tint Card" ? And checked my tint, indeed was found illegal 16% to exact

After i explained to the female officer i purchased the car AS IS she said "Thats the law its illegal and a yellow sticker will still be issued" She also said to chase up the car yard and see fi they can remove the tint but this would be unlikely...

After ringing the car yard concerned i was told pretty much no, they didnt fit it and its my problem. I rang the concerning car yards head office as well as AHG and also my finance company...Half way through today i recieved a phone call from the car yard asking me to bring in the car to strip the tint free of charge.

Still leaves me with the car yellow stickered, my finance company want me to make the car yard pay the pit fees too but i dont think they will.

Now heres a query i removed my resonator box, fitted a boost guage and removed the rear spoiler (Which contained a 3rd brake light) Will they pick up on this? Im putting the spoiler on tonight just in case but i am unsure about the resinator box and boost guage (Which is fitted in the air vent)

Sorry to rant on in this post but im pretty stoked theyre helping me out!

resonator box is fine
as long as the boost gauge doesn't block your view (front and rear) you're fine

Probably will ipck up on spoiler..but just whack in a parcel shelf brake light yourself to pass if you intend on keeping the car spoilerless u might as well use this as an excuse to get one properly fitted.

Other mods should be ok.... the pits just mainly check to see if theres a CAT and the general Noise level..... subtle mods they miss.

Well the boost guage is in the air vent so its below the dash pretty much...The exhaust is an RMS 3" TBE with cat and muffler...not overly loud!

You will get pinged for the 3rd brake light....I did when I went over the pits.

Just put it back on and you'll be sweet

I'm quite sure they wont get you for exhaust....the 5 times I've been over the pits with my WRX, they've never ever ever said anything about the exhaust, and mine isnt exactly quiet
