Not in WA.
And the price of the car is usually an indication of the condition. Plus plenty of people still want 35k PLUS for their midly modded "classic" shapes when stock ones are EASILY found for sub 20k (99/00) Last edited by Bakks; 10-08-2005 at 11:46 AM. |

classic, or just old
remove the bonnet scoop, vents and wing from the 'old' wrx's, and to be honest, how good do they look? |

I agree, but I've seen a few of these sub 20k 99 WRX's, and I'd buy one. They certainly aren't dinged up shit boxes.

Perth has traditionally higher used car prices than the east coast. Ideally, better to sell exiting car here and buy new one in Melb/Syd.
Admittedly you have to be well set up to ensure your getting a good vehicle if you buy from another state..... |

i just bought a MY99 for 18,500, done 130,000kays and has the usual 6 year old dings and scratches but for the price i paid i think its in incredibly good condition and it has a brand new gearbox! It still goes hard too! If you wait and look around you can find well priced examples in good condition.
