Default Permits

i'm thinking of getting a pod filter & getting all my mods to my 99GT forester permitted, do i have to get a permit for my vf-22? will they even notice it if i get a permit for just a pod filter & strut braces, i have a few other things that i'm not sure if i need permits for like: silicon 'y' pipe, 02 tmic, boost gauge, any help muchly appreciated
cheers

the vf22 silicone pipes and intercooler you wont need a permit for, the boost gauge it depends where you mount it, some cops will try to sticker you for it, they'll use that 11ft semi circle rule on the gauge.

But too be honest i dont think you should waste ya money on permits, They wont save you, if i cop thinks its illegal, permit or not he will sticker you. I got permits for all my mods and the cops just ignore them.

Of course you dont and IMHO you shouldnt ever. Its actually legal (provided its installed correctly) to have a strut brace / POD.

Rarely the police will even know a turbo's been changed (unless its clearly obvious!)

I have permits and they were biggest waste of $30 (no doubt its gone up!). Hwy patrol had the sticker book in my hand the moment they got out the car..

i would still recommend a permit though. as long as u don't come across as a dickhead most cops are fine with it. just don't be a smartass and start revving up next to an unmarked car.

i've had alot of experience with cops (and acting like a dickhead) in my past (hanging out in scarbough carpark in statesman deville back in the 90's!) so i'm pretty good now at not acting like a dickhead infront of cops hahahahhaa
