Unhappy Fog Lamps

Hey guys,
Whilst driving home the other day, I heard a bang from the front of my car as a rock hit it, kicked up by the stupid truck infront, later on inspection, I found the glass on one of my fog lamps to be broken.
I rang subaru to source a replacement cover to find out that you can't buy it, and was told that I have to replace the whole lamp, which they want approx. $200 for..........
Anyone know where I can get a replacement cheaper? -or even, one off a wrx that is being wrecked. (my car is a MY02 for those who dont know)

Really P.O. about it, havent had the car long.

wot about jap spares in wangara?

yeah the spot light housing is one whole piece as far as i know. sealed like the headlight casing.

dunno if u kan source an aftermarket replacement thru sumthing like maximum or motoquip? i know they do aftermarket headlight assembly's.

alternatively, if u dont use your spot lights u kud just buy the covers and remove the spotlights altogether. mite be cheaper.

I see these things for cheap all the time on ebay... usually go for $150 for a pair.

we had pretty a bad fog a few months ago in inglewood, spooky

I would swap out the fogs for replacememnt highbeams. One of the spot light companies such as hella made a direct replacement. They were around 120 a pair. Ill try and find a link.
