HBF insurance is all cool with the claim all mods were listed and covered

yeah i've been dreading getting a quote for an evo or new STi though

turboing a 6 dan is goin to be a very very exy process, i was having a good look at it before and u wont get much change out of 30gs. plus u would need a new gearbox to take that amount of torque.

figures are unbeliveable though. the guy that i was looking at geting it from showed me a dyno graph of 500hp atw and 1000nm atw from two twin VF34s at 1.4bar.

He rekons that this engine would easily be good for 900hp and could take upto 2bar with ease

yeah this is what i'm considering
Motec
pair of 34's at around 1.4 bar

but i'd drive it NA for the warranty period and save up for the build
when that runs out,

if the box breaks hollanger have a mean 6 speed

i dont rekon ud enjoy the NA 6 compared to a 2.0ltr turbo.

Apparently the 6's go alright tho. Guy at work has one who used to have a rex and says he loves it. Completely different league than a turbo, but the sound of a n/a boxer six on song is sweeeeeet.

Plus its something different!!
