Default Weird????

OK, I've got a MY00 Rex, tried to start it this evening and the immobiliser wouldn't disarm. So I thought, must be the battery, soi after changing the battery and piss farting around with it for fifteen minutes I gave up. The light works on the immobiliser, and the light is flashing in the car, but no disarming.

Bugger I thought. It'll have to wait till tomorrow. So then I go to move the wifes MY06 Forester and the immobiliser doesn't work on that either What the hell is going on??

Both cars immobilisers not responding when they work both working just fine.

Any info guys?? I'm completely stumped - the wife had just driven the Forester half an hour before!!

WEIRD...

Cheers

Fixed it - this will spin you out!!!

It was the door bell, the button on the front door bell was pushed in too far and was stuck in the pushed in mode. It must have been giving out a frequency that was screwing with the Subaru immobilizers. I took the battery out of the door bell and BINGO, both the immobilisers worked...

Sounds like an X File...

Cheers

Sounds familiar .. We had this set of electric curtains, and every time the neighbours a few doors up would open their garage door, the curtains would open and close.

Freaky shit when ur home alone on a sunday night and it happens for the first time :P
