I'm planning on having one chromed/polished but can't afford to have my car off the road while my stock one gets done, so the easiest option is to buy another one... Not in any great rush so if you want this one take it..

Joe do you know if it will fit on my 99 motor?

It will...but if its a 2 piece manifold and it only comes as the top half, you'll need the TGV housings also...STi's have the housings, but without the TGV butterflies in them.

If it comes with all the bits, then no dramas...but you MIGHT need top feed injectors and rails, not sure about that bit.

Stace will be able to tell us for sure

it fits, although you will need to check your turbo inlet hoses for clearance under the manifold against the fuel reg/power steering pump.

but yes, you will need the whole fuel system attached to the inlet manifold.

Thanks guys,

So if I got a 99/00 STI manifold instead I wouldn't have to change the fuel system?

Cheers

The 99/00 manifold from an STi is exactly the same as the wrx one, except red

Thanks ok, as I said above I'm not getting one strictly for better performance (wouldn't be that much anyway would it?) more to allow me to get one chromed without having to take my car off the road for a few weeks...

You don't chrome it... you get it polished and as above the STi Manifold is the same as the regular WRX one just RED. Get a 99 one or change you intercooler piping as well as the fuel etc.

i spotted a 99 sti manifold on ebay with the coilpack, heaps of hoses & a silicon inlet pipe too for $350 ! seems like a bargain as these silicon inlets are about $250 new from memory, the guys over east & says pick up only but you might be able to convince him to send it over
