Default annoying drivers side door!

I had the same issue with my 04 and my new 07 sti has it as well. Its the fact that the door will not close properly with out a some extra force, not alot but holy s@%t a $60k car. Had same problem in my old gtr torana when i replaced the door seals. could the seals be the problem!

can't say that I have had anyone complain about effort to close my passenger side door. MY06 STI really can't be faulted build wise!

My door is the same, requires more than the usual effort to close the door. I think that is normal on subarus as the doors have frameless windows. The extra force is required to ensure a good seal against the window glass.

Sounds right to me. I always have to give the doors more effort than other
cars and figured it was because of the frameless windows.

Wind your windows down, then see just how easy it is to close them. then
you will know for sure if it is the glass on the seal.
