The reason for my saying so is that all the other STi's (as far as I know) of the pignose model are 2.5L? Not dissing the almighty and proven 2.0L in its many fine forms here !!!

The 2.5 litre only resides in the USDM MY04 onwards STi, and in the AUDM MY06 pig nose..

Its an export only motor i.e. the Japs keep the good stuff for themselves....such as the EJ207
