I got most of my electronic stuff off ebay. You may also want to browse the rexnet forums. Often get cheap stuff there.

Most boost guages are not very acurate the best of times. but if u can at least stick with a better brand one u will be alright and even better if u can get an electronic one.
apexi are good.. Hks as well. just keep an eye out second hand see what u can find.rexnet and ebay like said above are good options.

yeah, i dont plan to buy a crap brand one..even if it means i have to wait a bit longer to get the money together. I figure, if im going to do something on my car, its going to get done properly...not some crappy cheap job that i end up hating

My best boost gauge ever... my SAFC II in my Cressida. Dead accurate as it read direct from the MAP sensor, and it also stored peak value. Could run it as a single display or combine with say revs, throttle posistion.

These days at around 300 bucks its almost cheaper then a really good gauge, looks good, and has more then just the one function. Plus if you dont have an ECU it can give you something for a quick tune for some small improvements.
