Okay I thought I would set up a discussion thread for the group buy of DriftaR32 aka rexwaggon's TBE exhaust system because the for sale section doesn't allow reply posts to threads.

And It will be difficult to PM back all the questions involved with the group buy

With a minimum of 10 people and for $650...

FULL Stainless Steel Turbo back exhaust system:

Bell mouth dump pipe.
Angled muffler
3inch high flow Catalytic convertor
All gaskets and bolts supplied...
SS Catless Up-pipe

You can post up any questions you may have about the system in this thread.

Also anyone who already has this system can give their feedback so that interested parties can make a choice about whether to go ahead and join in on the group buy...

I bought one of these off Dylan for my silver 94 before i sold it.
Excellent quality, about a hour to fit on a hoist and everything lined up perfect. All joins sealed fine and no leaks.
Didnt drone at all (altho i had headers, also bought from dylan, fitted).



And come on people $650 for a (china spec xforce system) you cant go wrong.

as i said in the other thread, i have one of these TBE from Drifta32 and its great, doesnt drone and easy to fit. Cheap as for a good system and i have friends who have them on their rex's who are happy also

hey guys, if interested i have organised a group buy on fitting these aswell
if we get about 5-6 people who wish to fit over the space of one weekend we can fit the exhausts for $150 ea compared to the normal $250

Check with rexwaggon first to see if this TBE bolts up to your 06 WRX. Its a garanteed bolt up for WRX up to 2005, but I dont know about 2006 models...



but YES... on your 06 WRX, you will need a re-tune after installing a TBE... but after the tune, you will be amazed at the difference.

Do a search, there is heaps of info on different tuning types... ECUTEK, VERSO, etc...

Just to jump on the bandwagon here, i too have the exhaust system Dylan sells, had it on my car since pretty much as soon as i owned it it fits the 06 fine, altho there is 1 hangar that doesnt line up with any of the 06's mount points), and the two rear ones fit, but one will fall out every now and then (cos they're on a bit of a stretch) (could easily just get 'em extended a bit, or some how bolt it to stop that from happening) but none the less, it's a very nice quality system, and as posted above, does not drone at all.

Man I can't wait to finally get my TBE and unleash the full potential of my car...

All the mods I have done are great but the biggest difference will come once I get this TBE system on....
