hey guys from my recent thread about X-FORCE TBE sytems it seems like its not a wise choice!!!

so does any1 no where i can get a GOOD QUALITY S/S TBE from preferably with angled out cannon type muffs ?????

Just out of curiosity, why do people get Cat Back and Diff Back exhausts? Does it actually do anything performance?? I think all that gives you is the boxer sound.

I say if you're gonna do it at all, do it properly the first time.

Get a Full TBE System and Up-Pipe too. Might cost a bit more, but the point of doing an exhaust is not only to get the sweet sweet boxer sound, but to get some extra KW's too !!

If you going to go the full tbe on your 06 your going to need a new ECU as well.
I have a magna flow which I put on before I had the ECU and had alot of problems.
I would recommend ringing RT and see what they reccomend mate. I had my exhaust done at APC but they really know nothing about Rex's and couldn't solve my problems, but did sell me a quality system that has an awesome sound. Cost me $2200.

If you get the drifta r32 ss TBE system and then buy a nice splitter type dump pipe, it will be pretty much the same as the expensive systems that retail for $2K+

Locally made systems (MMS, RMS) are expensive but very good quality and design and use top class materials. But if you want the "angled" look the local ones don't do those (since the angled rear pipe is an inferior design).
If you are putting the system on an MY06 then you really must get an ECU re-tune of some sort otherwise youwill probably have problems with it running lean.
The thing is, you have an expensive car so don't skimp on a quality exhaust and get something from the turbo back otherwise you are wasting your money.
