thanks alot for all your help, I had a look on redbook.com.au and it says a 2003 wrx should cost between $24,500 to $28,300 ranging between 45,000km and 75,000km. That means with 90,000 on the clock, the value f the car should be no more than $24,000. I guess i'll keep that in mind although i cant say ive seen any 2003 wrx's around for $24,000 regardless of the kms.

Have a squiz if your interested

well i just went to look at the 03 wrx and got it for 27500, its got a few goodies like ecutek, cold air, 3" stainless exhaust, 400hp fuel pump, eibach springs and a decent stereo. I had a look at the dyno read out, 150kw at the wheels, it feels like it has at least that when driven. Seems like a decent amount of power although i was expecting that that particular combination would have made aboude 170rwkw. I guess there wont be much strain on the stock components with that amount of power.

Thats obviously a bit of a "safe" tune, but 170? Those bits would be hard pressed to get that number, however it will be a great package to get around in for some time until you get used to it, but it seems like a well sussed entry level modding package, buy it!

I brought my MY04 Stock WRX Sedan for $33K had only done 20,000km on the clock and was in mint condition. So i thought i got myself a bargain considering the km on the clock. So for a WRX thats done 90,000 with a few Mod's i'd say $25K - $28K
