True,

I've had my rex for a year and never been pulled over other than for bretho.

I do drive hard at times, but I guess I've been lucky and havn't been pulled over.

Cops are trying to keep the roads safe. If you want to thrash your car, do it on the track where you won't run over a kid on his skateboard and have your or someone elses life ruined in a split second.

If you want to avoid cops, buy a Toyota Yaris!

I must have been lucky the cops are not as bad as they use to be i dont think iv gone through boose buses etc with 20grade tints lowered and loud cannon officer was nice as had a quick look at back of car that was it.

Senior officer was giving me daggers making me crap myself lol.

But was all good never said anything about the car

Gee, I must either be lucky, or drive like a Grandma..(that'd be it )

I've had 3 Rex's, inlcluding my current Rex, an HSV Clubsport, a CV8 Monaro and my current HSV VX GTS and have never had an issue with the boys in blue.

Flame at will, but I think it has to do with driving style and what your car looks like.

If you drive like a tool, expect harressment - you deserve it.

If your car is utterly slammed into the weeds, stereo so loud that you cant hear your own thoughts, huge wings and kits with limo tints and graphics you will be stopped for a "inspection". I'm not saying that these types of cars are crap, far from it!! Its just that attention seeking cars like these will attract err attention..

Being an arrogant prick when dealing with the boys in blue will and should get you in the shit also.

Cheers

However, my car is far more eye cathcing than yours and has far more to yellow sticker on it that yours, and i mean no offence in saying that but...... my car is too low to get into many driveways without SERIOUSLY scraping, it overfuels HEAPS (needs a tune), HUGE front mount and BIG LOUD stereo that if caught while turned up will get me done for noise pollution, and it also has a burgandy paintjob with a black bonnet and a gold glitter in the paint..... dont ask me about the paint, im gonna get a full black respray soon. But we both probably drive the same and you do have the stigma of a WRX, anyways, good luck in future mate We will need it lol

luckily for me.. a "soccer mum" spec impreza hatch, with big rims, canon exhaust, 20/5 grade tint and 142db of stereo doesnt seem to attract much attention.. (*touch wood*)

but honestly, there r serveral dickheads out there that drive like hooligan's all the time and r ruining the reputation for those of us who just enjoy modding cars. (not suggesting anyone on here, but i always see this Soarer, and whenever i see him.. he is doing something stupid, or about to)

Reminds me of a time when i was at Scarborough, back when it was cool on a Sunday amd burnouts were all the rage. i had a turbo charged mazda which was quite loud and a decent stereo to go with it.. and the usual rims etc... never ever got a second look from the cops there, but every commonwhore got inspected... so once the coppa's get it in their heads.. they will target that model car... sometimes, thats going to be a WRX.

as posted b4, dont like the attention.. buy a Yaris
