hmm perhaps i could have read the thread wrong.

Ethos has kindly offered to show me his when possible., So will be interested to see.

like i said my main concern is with glare and hot spots.

last thing i want is to blind the guy coming the other way to the extent that he nearly runs into me.

however if you guys have any pics of aftermarket installs to judge beam pattern etc i would be interested to see.

My current model WRX has ecellent low beam, but the high beam sux.

Any thoughts on a replacement?

speak to Sirix hes got xtec hid highs and reckon theyre pretty good.

Brighter than the lights of a football field. I've seen em. Just don't forget to turn the highs off when a car is coming towards you, otherwise they will think they are being obducted by aliens.
Only down side, they take about 10-15 seconds to warm up, once they are warm it's all good.

I have heard that HID's are illegal if they don't have auto levelling and a power wash thingo. That's what one of the distributors in WA told me when I called to enquire. If they aren't washed the light can disperse.

just a quick question i need new globes for a MY00 headlights and park lights but want the white type light what globes do u guys recommend need help

just let u know HID attract cops n they will stop u..
so think again don't only bcoz of HID u get yellow sticker for other thing that the cops will mess around..

If you put HID in headlamps which aren't designed for them, yes.
