Default Lights Dim

okay i know this dosent really affect your visaility unless you drive with your handbrake on but is it just me or do the lights dim when you pull up the handbrake compared to when its down?

You may have an earthing problem.

They shouldn't do .. They would only dim if you had a mega sound system (the lights dim when the bass kicks in) Or you're alternator is on the way out, and it's not pushing a good charge to your battery (you'd probably would have issues starting it by now if that was the case).

Just pulling the handbrake doesn't use any power from what i can think of, apart from illuminating the LED on the cluster .. Which uses fuck all.

Lay off the pills dude.

On the topic of dim lights, is there any way to get a brighter dash in a MY00 without doing bugger all? i wish my one would light up more.

Obvious question is: Do you know there is a dimmer for your dash ? Is it up full ?

Might just be the fact that the red light is brighter than the stock green, u can see this when u turn on the headlights at night the clock looks like it dims, its actually more light surrounding it which makes it look dimmer.

I'm almost 100% sure its cause of the extra light that makes it appear to dim. i suppose the only way to find out is to crack open remove all the lights, replace, switch on the lights and see if it dims.
