In the end its your choice dude. Read up on both, personally i would choose verso over ecutek anyday, again it also comes down to the tuner. As for the cost jaron, why not just save that 400 or so on an ecutek tune buy a 2nd hand boost controller and just crank it up to 1.5bar? Same results as ecutek just cheaper...

since already have tek1.5 it is cheaper and better to go for a tek3 tune than a verso tune.

You could squeeze another 10 to 20 kw atw out of your current setup. But more than that, you will achieve better fuel economy and reliability from a tek3 tune.

I agree with finding a tuner that suits you as it is your choice. When I was looking the Verso tune was a far superior option to the ECUtek due to the additional cost of ECUtek, Verso had more tuning options available than ECUtek and was being run by people I trusted.

Blues, why are you so anti verso and so pro ECUtek? On all threads that mention Verso it seems you to want to slag them down at every chance to promote ECUtek without any reasons why you think it is the better option to take.

haha coz that really wouldn't be smart! When Tek 2 went in my car without a custom tune the car ran like shit to be honest and my afr's were farked!
It would be cheaper to go Ecutek for the same results as a Verso tune.

If he didnt already have Ecutek I would say go Verso, as the more people that test it the more feedback we all get. Ecutek is tried and tested, Verso is new.

i've seen enough horror stories with ecutek to make sure that i'll never buy a car thats had a tek tune. It only needs to ping for a short time to fuck a motor for life.

Verso/Ecutek - end of the day peeps its down to personal preference. Either one will net you good gains and driveability etc.
