I would run 40psi+ on any low profile.

What car is it for??

I'd assume not a WRX, because a 45 profile 18 is a little bit too tall for any WRX!

Anywhere between 36-40psi for most low profile tyres is fine. Try a few different pressures and see what you're happy with. Everything's a compromise.

The 'plated' pressure are always 1-2psi higher at the front. This is to promote understeer which is generally safer for most car owners. If they feel understeer, most people back off and avoid a situation that they cant handle. Running equal pressures front and rear promotes a more neutral feeling.

as said always have the front 2-3psi less then the rears.. helps reduce understeer
