Default fmic on a 94 wagon

Just about to buy a 94 model wrx wagon that is pretty much standard except for exhaust so its pretty slow so looking to do some mods straight away and have a few questions.
Im looking to fit a china style fmic kit but i only seem to be able to find kits for 97-2000 and 2000 on.Will the 96-00 kit fit? Im also looking to fit a a vf34 but i also noticed that they say suit 97 on only.Is this only because of the straight inlet on the compressor or is there other reasons.
Im also going to use a power fc and probably some sti injectors and bigger fuel pump.Which sti injectors fit this model and what size are they?
The front bar looks pretty ordinary so im after a lip type extension. Is there anyone in perth that sells these?

from memory the later model kits don't fit, different inlet manifold so it wont fit straight up. Carly (REXESS) will be able to fill you in on more details as she had the same issue.

hey

um i bought a kit from japland but turned out to be a 99 kit, the pipework is diff, i just got the pipes fabbed up, was cheaper than return n get new one. but the 94-96 is same same.

as for turbo ive got a VF35. youll need a 90' elbow for it as it wont bolt stright on, but can be done.

as for engine management, verso is currently doin test work on mine and will have chips for remapping 94-96 soon, although power pc will work also. id wait for verso tho

injectors, ive got stocks atm, but gettin sti ones shortly. any year up to 98 will fit.
fuel pump is good idea as ours are old n shit hehe
im running a walbro.

Lip: um got it thru spoiler shop years ago, not sure who has em now.

hope that was some help

carly

FMIC setup is different on the MY94's as the whole inlet system is different. Piping will not fit... I wouldnt bother changing turbo's... TD05 can push some good horsepower...
Tune, I would wait for Verso...
Front lips are available from a few places... Fibrevision being my preference, but each to their own!...

Looks like i'll probably have to make my own piping for the fmic or at least modify a later model kit.I dont really know much about the verso so ive ordered a powerfc and at least i can tune that myself.Im still a bit undecided on what turbo to use.The vf34's seem ok but i would really like a bit more power so im looking into getting a gt3071r cartridge with subaru style housings but it could work out a bit expensive doing a 1 off and i havent really been able to find anything else other than the hks 2835 that would suit my needs as im not interested in plain bearing stuff or any of the 76mm comp wheel bb jobs on the market.
