Sweet as, thanks for that. Looks tops.

Just removed my splitter so i'm getting more air coverage now, at the expense of it being less direct. Was looking on NASOC and there were a few MY01/02's with much larger MY01/02 STi scoops, looked ghey.

Your pic re-affirms that i'm doing the right thing.

Thanks again champ.

y0,

I need someone with an STi to help me. I have called Osbourne Park Subaru, and Paul from the Parts Dept says he can get me one.

He needs a part number, i'm like, you tell me mate. Anyways, If someone could get me this info, and/or your VIN? As many numbers as you can give me may help!

Cheers fellas.

Finally recieved my Hood Scoop from Ebay .. Not too bad. Definitely needs a bit of sandpaper.

Dropped it off at the painter today, should have it on soon.

Okay, finally got my MRT Hood Scoop fitted. What splitter has everyone used with this? I have an STi 03+ Splitter (The Shroud goes around the IC perfectly) However, I'm having issues securing the splitter to the underside of the bonnet.

All the holes line up, but the splitter is actually too tall for the scoop it would seem, even the MRT STi replica hood scoop.

Doesn't make sense? Anyone else encountered this?

Rich, all the holes line up to bolt it on as I did this mod to my bugeye as well. What you need to do is cut the splitter and bend it down so it sits flush under the scoop mark it and then pop rivet (the top of the splitter you bent down to the sides of the splitter) to hold it in place. I put some sticky foam on the top of the splitter where it sits against the underside of the scoop to minimse and leakage and vibration. Go and see lethal at RMS I am sure he could do it in an hour or so if you don't have any fitter mates that could do it for you.
