If you want to run a cruise then make one yourself.

Plan it carefully though. People wont like you if they get a yellow on the cruise.

Things you want to consider when making a cruise map.

1. Safe and secure meetpoints. We want be able to meet up where its nice and secure but local security and police wont give us hassle when we loiter around for half an hour.

2. Mix it up with scenic driving routes, some nice twisties and long straights where people can "stretch their legs"

3. May add a food / drink stop along they way if its a long cruise.

4. Consider the possibility that many people might turn up to your cruise so make sure car parks are large enough and have ample room for maneuvering your car into a parking spot.

5. Take driving routes that wont get us mixed up with dense local traffic and yellow sticker zones that have a high police attendance.

6. Demand that your cruise will not tolerate nuisance drivers. ie. no burnouts, loud stereos at meet points and constant revving of the engine. Meet points are just to take a break and re-group. Meet points are not skidpans.

Thats all I got for now.

I've been part of ogranising a couple of cruises and meets, and 1 thing i have learned so far is wrx drivers LIKE TO DRIVE. so make the cruise decent length. Myself, I enjoy the social side of a cruise, the meet points, the catching up with people that i only see at cruises, but not everyone likes that, so make the last meet point somewhere social, where people can stop for a bite to eat, a drink or a chat.

Avoid area's that give you trouble, ie: lappin scabs, freo cappo strip, roe highway, albany highway (near carousel), cottesloe beach. Some of these area's are nice places, but u get 40 wrx's going thru there with 3" TBE's your bound to cause a problem, and its not long until the police catch up with you and start picking you off.

So basically, Avioid high risk area's, make ur cruise a decent length (but not too long) and make sure u have plenty of carpark space (just in case)

Also insentive to be there till the end is good, too many cruises die in the ass and have like 4 people at the final meet point. GHEY!

ALSO: Can you change the topic of this thread please to what it is relivant to, this is how n00b's get lost.

Its all about attitudes, if everyone is behaved theres no issue stopping anywhere really.

We often stop right next door to a police station, never ever had an issue.
