I'm going to buy a MY07 STI this Month just wondering does anyone know how much they are Drive away? My guess is $62,000 i know Stamp Duty is around $3,700 but was wondering how much Dealers charge for there "EXPENSIVE CAR WASH" (Dealer Delivery) or does it vary from Dealer to Dealer?

Pretty sure my 06 was just over 62 all up. Didn't pay that much attention as it was through a lease. All I was worried about is how much a month.

My advice is to shop around...there are 3 dealers you can approach...City, S.O.P. and Peel...all STi dealers.
The pre-delivery charge is...wait for it...$2000!!!
Another tip is to buy at the end of the month....and negotiate...

Yeh cant beleive you got that deal Al!!!!!!! I paid $61500 drive out with mats and fuel, City Subaru, speak to Scott Chivers, he is a member of this site although not an active one I dont think.

Scott as City Suby sold me mine but I had to put a holding deposit on it and waited 6 weeks for Oct 05 delivery. City weren't that interested in nego a price for the STI at the time because they were brand new model. Perhaps you can get them to come down a little bit but I would hold my breath on it.

Yeh they didnt want to play ball at all. Scott a top bloke though did everything he could to get me the price I wanted, and I think I got a good price in the end.
Al must have thrown in a bit more than money to get that price I reckon
