from what i've read in this thread, super-lows are fine for a wrx....i work at super-cheap auto and had a wrx owner purchase king supers, only to find that they were too low coz they destroyed his cv's after having them on
whats everyone's take on that? did the guy just stuff something up? marcel |

i have king superlows in my current rex, and yeah agreed they dont sit that low (although have been told my cops mycars too low), ive noticed with the kings the rears sit a fair bit lower, with the tyre just going up the guard..but on the fronts there is a few mm gap between the tyre and the guard.
Just to compare, my previous white rex had the N1 JIC Coilover kit, sat nice and evenly, was a little bouncy, but def preferred then over the current kings superlows, the tyres seem to rub the guard with the kings but didnt with the JIC's. On my first green rex, i had lovells superlows, same lowering as the kings...found em to be very soft and bouncy, but where a little more even front and rear compared to the kings. Im plannin on ditching the kings superlows down the track anywhere and going for coilovers..best solution, runnin the stock shocks they will just wear out soon anyway with these springs, and rather then say getting adjustable to match, i think id rather spend the bit extra and get a set of coilovers. |
