Got some great news yesterday when the engine had finally been painted,detailed put back together and the fun job of fitting it back into the engine bay(looks schmik as,photos coming soon!),putting the new clutch and flywheel in and joining all the hoses,wires etc... back together,phew!! what a pain in the arse that was!!!!! came to that nervous moment when the key got turned enough to let the fuel pump whirrr away for a few seconds then turned it all the way to hear it start straight away without barely hearing the starter motor go,has a fairly quiet exhaust on it with x-force headers so you can still hear the lumpy cams burble away but without the classic boxer growl and its not overly loud which is good for the cops. AM STOKED AND RELIEVED AT THE SAME TIME with motorvation a week and a half away and no problems as yet to deal with. Just has to get run in this week then it gets trucked to speedworks wednesday next week to get tuned on vp 109. cantwait to see how much power she makes!!!
