do the Quicktrack features workin in Perth ie satelite tracking or what ever?

I'm interested in updating to a better alarm system..

Dont believe it does. I have a quicktrack in my car which works fine here in vic but i did speak to them over when I had the alarm serviced and they tech seemed to think it didn't work in Perth. The quicktrack is radio signal based so specific receivers have to be set up in the city for it. I am sure there are GPS based tracking systems that would be fine in Perth. Just no good when your car is in a tunnel or driven into a carpark or garage.

oh okay, not fussed on the GPS etc

what i really want to do is add an external siren for the alarm which works with the factory quick track stuff. any suggestions guys?

YEs it does... there is a place Ashley eleectrical in malaga they know perth wrx i have seen these items working .. great item i am getting one for next car.. they do good price too and rac also give u discount for having one..

my understanding of the quicktrack, is it is a generic car alarm/immobiliser with the quicktrack radio tracking software added to it to allow the car to be located if stolen.

NVRENUF, I thought he was referring to the quicktrak alarm, a particular radio signal basd alarm which I dont think works in WA. However there are other brands of GPS and GSM based tracking available.

okay, yeah i believe Quicktrack is comming to WA soon.. Like i said I just want to find someone that can add a external siren to it and put a shock sensor on it for the out side.

Yeah sorry i thought he was refering to the ezitrak becuase iv seen places refer to it as quick trak as well lol Though the ezi trak is a better option personally i think..
and its avalible here now in perth
