Good to see. I've always had suspicions that the fuel companies were keeping the prices high, and even if they aren't, at least the ACCC has taken interest in their industry now, which seemed to work for telecommunications.

Shop at SupaValue and they give you discounts at BP's....... I do it when i can but it only ends up saving you around $1.50 over the full tank, but i use the shell anf caltex ones for the bunky car...... I suppose every little bit helps.

thats the point. not a lot. I know the Manning road one lets you use em, but theyre normally atleast 4-5c higher anyway than the other BP's
I find BP Langford or Huntingdale normally the cheapes and no they dont accept vouchers. IIRC you can ask at your local IGA that you shop at which BP;s have them or not, they normally have a poster somewhere with the 15-20 of them.. heh. |

My household does shopping at Coles and gets the dockets regardless, we dont shop JUST to get the dockets cos that is fuckin stupid.
The way I use the dockets is: If the Coles Express near my work is cheaper with discount than the cheapest service station on my way to work, then I'll use them. If not, then I'll use the other service station which is cheaper. I use Fuelwatch for all my pricing. In this way, I am not going out of my way to get the cheapest fuel because I do it on my daily work commute, and I'm not doing unneccessary shopping to get the voucher, and I'm still using the cheapest fuel overall. I only do this for my daily driver, with the WRX I just go to my local BP to put U98 in. If every person did this, the c*nts scheme wouldnt work as well as it is now. |

http://www.quickstop.com.au/fuel_locations.html Was an old bookmark in my favourites before the IGA takeover, so not sure if it's still correct. I generally watch fuel watch for the cheapest 98 because I don't shop for groceries a lot, then plan my trip to or from work to go past the cheapest BP thats on the way.
