so you're running a classic shape rex?

i'm not sure what the fuel maps are for the classic shape and MY01 onwards WRX are, but that may contribute to the fuel used, on top of the heavy foot.

650km from a tank country driving is achievable, as there's less stop/starts and just one constant speed.

some of the guys here on this thread has either 2.5L rex, upgraded injectors/fuel pumps, and pushing a bit more kw as well. plus, its better to run slightly richer than lean

ahh fair enough. my car is always running too rich. needs a decent tune, not like the last one...put car on dyno, spin up 160kw, look at computer, spin up car again, take off dyno...6 weeks later, and there goes the afm again...wanker!

What does the vehicle's state of tune have to do with your AFM failing?

i'm only going by secondary knowledge, that has been told to me by other tuning houses. something about in inherant problem with the tuning that is causing them to fail, i probably should mention that it happens more often than it should.

and the fuel tank is 55 litres i'm pretty sure
