shouldn't your plates be positioned on the side? seems like it's limiting the air intake to your FMIC

yup still trying to work around that problem, unfortunately the plate doesn't sit nicely anywhere else

get slim line plates just cheaper random number ones but slim line looks better
those big state plates are just ugly on any car

is there a law in W.A that prohibits various placements of plates on the front of a car?

from the photo's there looks like there's sufficient room under the lights(blocking your fog light covers)

With slim line plates I would put them in the centre screwed to top part of bumper.

The small amount that a slim line plate would hang down isnt worth even thinking about saying that it would block the fmic.

But those state plates are defiently to big, I always think personally plates look neater when in the centre , not a big fan of plates stuck off centre.

Ive seen some number plates replaced with stickers, look just like a state number plate but a little more slim and stuck on the front bumper. Anyone know much about these, I'm in the same situation with my numberplate obstructing the FMIC, not that it would make a big difference anyway.
