Replacing your stock plate with a sticker is MORE illegal than just running without it. Jan found this out on his evo after being pulled over. The sticker is seen as making a fake numberplate!

There is a specific angle the plate is supposed to be on but from memory it can be anywhere really on the front

Must be slightly different to the eastern states, although the sticker licence plate is illegal, my friend got the fine, paid it at a post office, still has the sticker licence plate. No defect notice or anything...

safer to run without the front plate, and leave it 'bent' in the front passenger compartment.

i'd rather cop the fine for an accidental no front plate, and get no points, rather then trying to explain a sticker at a bad angle.

numberplate must be straight on the front of the car, perpendicular to the road,
Mines mounted onto the frontmount.
