Check the door switches. They normally have rubber covers, but if they are
stuffed then water and crap can get in and short it out, thus making the alarm sound. A more common problem is the bonnet (and to a lesser extent the boot) switch. Check to see it is not corroded and shorting out. An easy way to check this is cut the wire to the switch (make sure you tape it up). If the problem still exists then its not that sensor. Make sure you solder the wires back once you eliminate each sensor otherwise your alarm will be useless. Does you alarm tell you what set it off ? Mine will tell me if it was the doors, bonnet etc... That way you can target which sensor is faulty.
