I have something called Glass Scrub glass cleanser that you can try if you like. Says it is good for cleaning all stains including tree sap and salt stains etc. Also lists itself as a mild glass cutter.

i haven't seen that before, can you get it from the usual places, ie repco, supercheap?
|
I found it at K-Mart, but would expect it would be available at the usual places.

Contacted Jason from Auto-Screens as per above post. Top bloke, got back to me real quick and still only $270 for a full replacement windscreen.
Told him what happened, and basically you're fucked once the front of the windscreen gets sandblasted when driving, only replacement which aligns to my efforts of trying to fix it by hand. |
For anyone needing to get their screen fixed - Jason was awesome. Came out to my place and fixed it all up perfectly and cleaned up all the plastics, vacuumed all the shit caught below the wind wipers etc.
$270 fully replaced, did a great job. Windscreen Replacement Perth | Windscreen Repair Perth | Autoscreens |
