Hey all, my name's Alex and I've just a week ago bought an MY00 rex off a guy in Port Kennedy. I've wanted a rex for seven years of my life and now I finally have it. It's not the fastest; it's not the best looking; but it's mine and that's why it's special

It used to belong to a member on here called 'RoAdSy' who has looked after it well, as have the previous owners. The very first thing everyone says when they first see it (and i mean everyone) is: "it's in great condition".. after they say "wow", of course. Cheers to the previous couple of owners for keeping it in such top nick! I'll be doing the same for sure.

There's pics below so I'll just rattle off some mods in simple form. There'll be more on the way, as is no doubt the law when you pick up a Rex
*Full STi body kit inc clear indicators. *The good old Aussie Turbosmart BOV. *DBA4000 slotted rotors and racing break pads. *Supercat 3.5" sports muffler. *Organic heavy duty clutch. *18" Avantek mags. *Kings superlow adjustable coilovers. *Turbotimer, boost controller and non-pretentious boost guage. *Chrome tail lights.

When the money rolls in, the ride rolls out of a garage looking/performing better. But right now, it's great the way it is as I get used to it. I hopefully will be a regular member of cruises and the likes (starting this friday 13th) and hope to have some good discussions - or flame wars as it looks like it usually is - on the boards.

EDIT: Mods on the list in preferencial order:
1: tail lights! 2: a good alarm system. 3: my audio system moved from my current car to the Rex (incl. a new DD9512 sub and amp to power it) 4: hopefully a new ECU, turbo and FMI in one hit, followed by engin internals to handle it when the boost is up.
