Default Gday

Big hello to everyone.

Been on here for quite a while now so this is a bit of a late introduction but whatever. Bought a MY00 WRX late last year from pickles auction and have been repairing it (slowly). Infact it only just got licensed today. Next step is to get some insurance.

I've already met many members off this forum. Big thanks to everyone that I bought parts off and whom helped contribute to fixing my car.

Anywho here's some (lots) of photos...

Well done champ I was thinking the same about a Club Spec EVO from Sydney a while back but lack the Nuts to do it.. Might see you around somewhere.

Great job with the rebuild too it looks the treat. You just need some clear indicators for the grill and quarter panels now

There was a few dents on the tie bar and the top section was all bent. New upper rad support, headlight rad support section and a good panel beater fixed that right up though. It certainly wasn't damaged enough to hit the ABS / radiator so wasn't anything to serious.

I've been looking at getting some new clear indicators (Odin Autos) just wanted to get the car on the road first. I've bought a set of sti taillights a few months ago just need to install them again. Also need to get the side skirts painted then I'll start looking at mechanical modifications (TBE, tune, etc).

In the mean time I need to sort out insurance. I turn 22 in a week so my premiums will drop a couple hundred (according to quotes I've gotten). Looks like I might have to wait another week before it becomes my daily.

Top job mate! Are you painting the side skirts?
The panel work looks good. There seems to be virtually no gaps between front bar and lights etc. Mind if I ask who you used?

Welcome to the forums

Barry @ Straight Line Panel & Paint, Dianella. Mate of a mate arrangement. Got a wicked price (about 1k cheaper then other quotes), took him less then a week to do it and I only had to wait a week to get it into him. Very happy with the work. I believe I've seen his name recommended around here before too.
