Hey.
hey hows it goin? my names jayden, i just whent and brought a MY05 impreza..pitty non-turbo insurance was to expensive to get a WRX. im lookin into doin some upgrades for the NA but dont know where to start i know everyone says to me dont do up an impreza and that i should of just brought a wRX but hey i wana turbs my impreza one day so any tips from any peeps would be handy thanks...hope to be cruizin along side some nice WRX's sumday.

Hey Jayden,
Not sure what sort of upgrades you were thinking but.... Could just do a few cosmetic mods to start off with I guess... ie; new set of rims. Could also lower it Got any pics of it? Megs...

Ahoy there, fellow NA owner.
Simple rules for NA ownership: Rule #1: Dont kid yourself, your not gonna make it go any faster Rule #2: Keep the mods you CAN do simple. Just grab a nice Cat-back exhaust, some lowered springs, set of rims and leave it at that (can do headers for extra "boxer rumble" if you really want, but in the end its only for sound) Rule #3: Start saving for WRX lovin'! Dont bother with turbo conversions. Do-able, but efforts. Just save! In the meantime, use the forums to read and learn as much as possible about WRX's and when the time rolls around to buy your WRX, you'll be able to get straight in and start the modding. Welcome!

Wow, nothing worse than people not replying to a thread in 2 hours...
No point modifying a NA other than for handling gains imo. If you want to go faster you can look at a conversion, but unless you are doing it yourself it is cheaper to swap into an already turbo charged vehicle.
