That's what I want to know... No one would expect that in a mini

Then again... I wouldn't have expected it in a moke till I read this post!

Given that three of my mates have mini's atm, I think its time I did one...

And the sound of a blowoff on a mini would scare the shit out of most ppl

DooM,

I know it won't work... I'm just dreaming...

However, a rover v8 in a morris 1100 is possible and when the money is spare, will hopefully be built.

if you can fit a rover v8 in a mini the EJ will fit no probs

i don't think it will be too hard to make a EJ20T mini cooper

engine bay will be tight but i think it'll fit
the floor pan will need to be completely remodelled to fit the transmission especially a 6 speed,
all drive shafts, half shafts etc will need to be custom fabricated may as well make them nice solid billet ones while you're at it
heavy modifications will be required to fit the wheel hibs etc

i think brembos are out as the guards aren't big enought for tha calipers let alone the wheels too

i think WRX brakes may fit and some nice stock MY 99 16" rims will pump it out

damn i'm getting all excited just thinking about it

fuck 300whp in a 600 to 700 kg car. that will scare the piss out of ya

When I win lotto... *continues dreaming*

But back on topic... AWDmoke, awesome work on the car. Let us know when you have the car running about. I'm sure there are quite a few ppl on here who are interested in having a good look at it.

(Also the V8 fits in a Morris 1100 not a mini unfortunately)
