Signed up recently so that I can search through the threads you have here increasing my knowledge with an aim to eventually purchase a '99 or '00 WRX.

I've previously owned a highly modified S13 Silvia (nearly 10 years ago) which I sold before moving over to London to live/work for 3 years. All my holidays and money was spent travelling through Europe.

Upon returning home to Perth less than 2 years ago I just wanted a comfortable ride after owning the noisy and stiffly sprung Silvia (had HKS coilovers fitted). Ended up getting a 6sp manual VZ SS Commy, which I will need to sell in the coming months to make room for a WRX.

I miss going out for a drive just for the fun of it. The SS is nice to cruise in when I have somewhere to go but its not fun enough to just head out for a drive.

Probably won't see many posts from me till i've got my new car, but I will be watching

Welcome I'd be going an 02 STi over the MY00 WRX .. Not much more.

Yeah would be nice but i'm looking to get something cheaper than my current ride and spending the difference on a bigger car for the missus.... kids on the horizon
