my names callum. I live up in Mount Helena in the perth hills.
I was a full on v8 person and never thought i would own a scooby doo but oh well, needed a change.
gone from massive oversteer and opposite lock on wet roads to grippy as fuck.
I work with Wes Tran (xology on pwrx) n i was in his shed oneday n saw a gc8 sitting there covered in 5 years worth of dust and a shit load of wires hanging out of the passengers footwell,
I thought it looked fucking mad so i asked him what he was doing with it, turns out nothing for the last few years n wanted to sell it, so i said fuk it i will have it if u fix it.
6 months later he finally got it to start and a month later i finally gave him a bank cheque, im such a lazy cunt!!
the car is a 97 wrx gc8 with 62,000km on the clock!!
i had it for 4 days and thought i would give clutchless shifting a shot(it has a dogbox 1-4), im a dickhead! got it all horribly wrong, i snapped the selector fork, 3+4 rail snapped the end off it, grinded teeth off 5th somehow and some other bits of shit in there decided to join in and mash up
but good fun its getting fixed... slowly
i might need some help later on with a 207 or closed deck block conversion...
