Hi everyone,
My name is Simon and i live in Rotterdam, Netherlands. I found you forum by accident and like it a lot. SO i thought i introduce myself while im at it. Mods: Engine: D-Sports Carbon/Kevlar Radiator Panel D-Sports Carbon Battery tie down D-Sports Alternator cover Forge BOV OMP strut brace ECU TEK Cosworth Timingbelt Cosworth Timingbelt guide Exhaust: Scoobysport downpipe Scoobysport exhaust Brakes: STi Brembo Front & Back HAWK DCT-30 Pads Front & Back Goodridge brakelines Front & Back Performance Friction Discs Front STi Disc Back MBM Suspension: Eibach 20mm spacers Eibach Prostreet S Eibach Anti-Roll-Kit Tires: Bridgestone Potenza RE 070 225/45/17R Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 225/45/17R Interior: D-Sports A-Pillar cover Sparco harness bar Sparco racing seatbelts Sony Radio Tinted windows ScanGauge II Spec C Front seats On the scale: 1390KG here are a few pics from my little one I use it a lot one the Nurburg ring to test my parts and see how well they last : Besides the Subaru my friend and I also have an old 190e Mercedes for fun: thats what it looked like in December 2009 then I added Carbon Interior New wheels and lowered suspension Test drive on the ring to see how it drives After final settings we decided to paint it, because white was a bit boring on a merc so we went for flat black and Lambo green and then we entered the GLP races on the Nurburg ring On Sept 4th we have the next race. Each is 12 laps Details: Numbers: 12/92 registered 280.000 KM 160 HP RWD 2.6 Liter Changes: Wider wheel arches 205/50/15 Toyo T1R Melber alloys Paint mat black/ lambo green stripe New suspension lowered 45/45 (with the tires it is now 65/65 lower) (settings are even more race oriented than the Sportsline from Mercedes) New brakes all around (discs & pads from Brembo) New brake lines New Air filter Racing seats 4 point seatbelt All oil was changed All interior removed (total 60 KG weight reduction) Total weight (full fuel and water tank 1240KG) Best time on the ring was 10:28 but the tires are not the best, so more is possible) We use it for races at the ring now, in our class we came twice in the top 20 so far (out of 50). now there are more stickers on the car will update soon. hope you like it. greets Simon |

I have to say, I'm a bit in love with the ring
I go there about 10 times a year. We have the 7 races and then some times for fun Now that i have my racing license it is way saver to drive there during a race, because the other drivers have some experience and don't cars the car all the time |

G'day Simon and welcome... like so many have said before, I'm extremely jealous the ring is literally in your backyard!!! Nice ride you have for use on the ring too.
