Default Hi, Matt here

Hi Everyone,

I just bought a '07 liberty 2.0R so its pretty gutless but still nice n fun to drive, partly cos its the newest car I've ever had

I bought a rough-running '06 wrx engine a year ago, and that's sitting in my garage so there's a future marriage in the mix

My research so far says that my liberty 2.0 gearbox (5 speed manual) will mate up to the EJ255 engine? This transplant isn't going to happen anytime soon (busy with work at moment), but I'm keen to learn and collect data so if you can PM me any details or post up here anything to help I appreciate it
If anyone has a gen4 liberty workshop manual in pdf (or a link to an online pdf) or cd format I'd appreciate that too

Thanks and nice to meet u all~
Matt.

Gday Matt,

Congrats on the new car , however, I can't say I'd suggest an engine transplant BUT if it's what you want to do - go for it.

Try Liberty ASN (google) for the manuals your chasing.

All the best,

GTB
