Be interesting to see the results.

When you say the XR8 was 'quicker' from 80-160 was that a stock to stock comparison or modded V8 to stock wrx?

Tune and an exhaust really opens these up.

This was modded XR8 to stock STI,

The STI in stock trim still wins in initial acceleration. The joy of AWD

No replacement for displacement in a straight line mate, gets a little hairy on corners though

Also welcome and nice choice of upgrade

Gents,
bit of an update on the ride at the moment,

wheels ended up with some CE28's instead of the Enkei units.

Decided against using X-Speed and going with ASG - just having difficulties catching up with them due to my current work schedule. (they dont do saturdays)

had my suspension done by wilkinsons they sorted me out with springs, struts, sway bars and anti lift kit - transformed the handling of the car considerable - i am now enjoying my early morning drives to the south west again

Stereo has been done. props to Robin C (WRX FIEND) for the neat install, while i was off in bali

Cheers,

Good move on the CE28's!
What size and colour you end up going for?

Suspension mods are the best investment for any Subaru!

The only bad thing with all this is the lack of pics.
