I joined the forum yesterday but have been browsing for the past 2 months. I bought my first MY04 WRX about 2wks after turning 18 and it has been an absolute blast to drive. You may have seen me around Rockingham. Heres a few pics (new rims yesterday).




I'm thinking of putting an STI spoiler on it or removing the current spoiler. Any opinions?

PS: If you are wondering about my username, it's just what I've been dubbed by some mates.

i believe car modification is expressing yourself with how you like your car to look,

not what people on pwrx tell you how to modify your car, its up to you even tho i personally believe neons are gay.

They are on a switch so I can turn them on/off whenever anyway.

What are some cheap, recommended mods to start doing? And I need to put a cannon on the zorst but not sure what size sounds loudest/best etc.

Sway Bars and Springs (coilovers would be better to save up for though). Exhaust, Tune and Fuel Pump will see a nice improvement in performance. Then driver training, the best mod of all. Get out and enjoy your car on the skid pan at AHG, there are regular events on here so keep a look out.
